SPHERE OF ACTIVITY One of the leading enterprises of the electronic industry in Russia. Developer and producer of articles of semiconductor micro- and radio-electronics based on materials of its own production (silicon and complex compounds: g allium arsenide, indium phosphide, etc.). The devices produced at the enterprise operate in low-freqency, high-frequency, super-high frequency, and optical wavelength ranges. Main areas of their application: medical apparatuses and devices for treatment and diagnosis of diseases; transceiving modules of communication systems in the centimeter, millimeter, and optical wavelength ranges; measuring devices; systems of safeguarding signalling; power sources and convertors; ecology. MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS The Enterprise has created more than 120 types of semiconductor devices operating in SHF and optical ranges on the basis of complex compounds and silicon. Researchers of the Enterprise in collaboration with the Siberian State Medical Institute and the Tomsk Academy of Automatic Control Systems and Radioelectronics have discovered and promoted into the serial production the self-contained electrostimulators of the gastroenteric tract well-known both in Russia and abroad. The Enterprise is the sole developer and serial producer of the Gunn diodes, Schottky diodes of the millimeter range, monolith mixers and detectors of the millimeter range, high-power emitting diodes in Russia. Leading developer and producer of integral circuits based on gallium arsenide for analog and digital processing of signals, digital frequency synthesizers, medical-diagnostic equipment (small - size apparatus for microwave puncture therapy, portable apparatus for diagnosing according to the Foll method), transceiving modules for super-fast communcation systems, systems and regulating units of fire signalling, semiconductor structures of gallium arsenide and indium phosphide. The Enterprise sells its production which has shown itself to be excellent in use, namely, the self-contained electrostimulator of the gastroenteric tract, portable small-size device KEDR for charging accumulators, original all-wave aerial amplifier of TV signals in secondary service areas (meter and decimeter ranges), devices for obtaining a pure water based on the technology of self-spreading high-temperature synthesis. The Enterprise has its own semiconductor materiological base, technologies for creating cases and substrates based on ceramics and special-purpose measuring and technological equipment, designing and production of phototemplets.
