World-class dancers in sport dances
(sport dance club DIAMANT of the recreation centre

MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS
Their first participation in competition took place on the stage
of the Concert Hall of the Tomsk State University
in December 1989. Having passed the series
of junior tournaments in the Tomsk region, they won
the right to represent Tomsk on Russia primacies in Perm’, Omsk, Sverdlovsk, and other cities.
In the summer of 1988, they were invited to the summer training course by the leading Litva trainer Godiminas Kavalyauskas in the city of Electrinai. In April 1989, they were invited
to the students’ international competition "Cup of the Kaunass Polytechnical Institute", where they reached the final,
won IV place in the B class and the special prize "Audiencesympathy." In 1990, they began to perform
by the programme of world-class dancers.
They received the first experience of performance
at international competitions in St.Petersburg at the competitions "Petersburg Assembly" and "Baltic Cup" in 1992.
In May 1992 at the "Volga-Rein" match meeting of dancers
from Russia and Germany, they was the guests and was invited by leaders of German delegation to take part in German tournaments. They worked on probation in the St.
Koln TSC "Exelsior" (trainer Horst Neumann), Germany.
At the Siberia open championship "Siberian Ball-94" in Omsk they won 5th place. In the International Dance Cruise
"Volga-94" in Nizhnii Novgorod, Samara, Volgograd, Astrakhan’ they won 2nd-5th places in the final.

on 1994 and 1995, they are the sole dance pair in Tomsk confirming the qualification standard of world-class dancers.
