SPHERE OF ACTIVITY Informational, cultural, and educational activity; rendering services for readers; methodical work; publishing activity; studying of local lore, history, and economy. MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS Main State book depository of the Tomsk region. The Library’s fund possesses more than 1 million of units to be kept. The Library services more than 20 thousands of readers. The following organizations work at the Library: thee clubs "Old Tomsk", "Bibliophil", "Musical Lounge", the French Culture Centre, the VODOLEI Publishing House.
