OF THE TOMSK STATE UNIVERSITY Established in 1931. SHPERE OF ACTIVITY Preparation and organization of regional festivales of theatres of variety miniature and jazz festivales. Organization of performances of professional and amateur troups and individual performers. Creation of intertaining shows and thematic programs. Recording of audio albums and audio and video clips with the use of computer graphics and Computer sound-recording technology. MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS Cultural Center incorporates most of the best amateur and semi-professional creative troups of Tomsk: choir, laureate of All-Union, Russian, and International competitions (Choirmaster: Vitalii Sitnivov, Honoured Man of Culture of Russia), band of violinists (Leader: Vitalii Maksimov, Honoured Actor of Russia), jazz band "TGU-62" (Leader: Arkadii Ratner), orchestra of Russian folk musical instruments (Leader: Viktor Marukhlenko), literary - artistic theatre (Producer: Valentina Beketova, Honoured Actress of Russia), drama and comedy theatre "In the University Grove" (Producer: Nina Koshel’kova), theatre of variety miniature "Lyuks" (Producer: Grigorii Malygin), ESTUS (Producer: Roman Dashevskii), "Bonifas" (Producer: Sergei Braslavets), "Ponedel’nik" (Producer: Oleg Igrushkin), jazz band "Big Seishn," rockabilly band TBP, Creative Association "Yumorhynok," KVN team, and discotheque "Babilon."
