AT THE TOMSK POLYTECHNICAL UNIVERSITY Established on August 8, 1988. SHPERE OF ACTIVITY Development and delivery of finished computer-aided control systems or different branches. Development and delivery of expert systems and teaching systems. Providing the access to international networks (INTERNET and others) by sattelite and ground channels. Training of bachelors, engineers, magistrates, post-graduates in informatics, computers, applied mathematics, and informational systems in economy. MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS Developed and delivered in Tyumen’ and Tomsk regions are computer tomographs of entrails, integrated control system on the basis of computer networks, automated workstations for banks and economic departments of enterprises’ boards. Provided is the telecommunication access to INTERNET for educational and scientific enterprises. Trained are thousands of engineers in computers, informatics, and applied mathematics, dozens of doctors and candidates of sciences.
