SHPERE OF ACTIVITY Scientific research works in geology, geophysics, prospecting and extraction of oil and gas. Designing of exploration, exploitation, and development of oil and gas fields, pipelines; building oil wells and civil objects. Engineering and building investigations and evaluation of an effect upon the environment. Laboratory-analytical study of hydrocarbons, rocks, fresh and mineralized waters. MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS The sole organization on the territory of the East Siberia and south-eastern part of the West Siberia having the licence for design of development and exploitation of oil and gas fields. On the credit side of the Institute are the designs of development and exploitation of well-known deposits: Sovetskoe, Pervomaiskoe, Vakhskoe; designs of the largest oil pipelines: Aleksandrovskoe-Anzhero-Sudzhensk, Nizhnewartovsk-Kurgan-Ufa-Al’met’evsk, Nizhnevartovsk-Kuibyshev, Surgut-Polotsk, and others; underwater crossing of pipelines across the rivers Ob’, Irtysh, Volga, Kama, etc. The Institute has computer-aided base of geological and geophysical information on the Tomsk region and adjacent regions. The Institute is equipped with modern computers and uses the world-level software, that allows it to conduct scientific-research and design works at 15-20% lower prices than other similar firms.
