AESTHETIC GYMNASIUM #29 Established on October 10, 1987. SPHERE OF ACTIVITY Secondary education with a humanitarian-aesthetic emphasis. Pupils of the first-seven grades learn at the Artistic-Aesthetic Departments of Choreography, Choral Singing, Ball-Room Dances, Russian Folklore, Fine Arts, Musical Instruments, German Folklore, and Art of the Theatre. Pupils of the eighth-eleventh grades are specialized in the following fields: historical-philological, of Romanic-German philology, of foreign languages, of joirnalism, artistic-architectural, economic-mathematical, medical-biological, ecological-chemical, physical-mathematical, and historical-juridical. Pupils study English, French, Spanish, Italian, Greek, and Latin. In Gymnasium, there are the Departments of Humanitarian Education, Foreign Languages, Natural-Mathematical Education, Pedagogics, and Pedagogical Psychology and Medical-Psychological Laboratory. Gymnasium has concluded agreements on collaboration with the Tomsk State University, Siberian State Medical University, Tomsk State Pedagogical University, and Tomsk Polytechnic University. MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS Third - Degree Grant of Foundation Cultural Initiative. PERSONNEL AND LEADERS Staff consists of 250 teachers, 1727 pupils learn at the Gymnasium.
