Established on November 15, 1990. Founders: the Tomsk Administration of Education and the Tomsk State University. SPHERE OF ACTIVITY Education. Pedagogical activity is aimed at the development of principles of modern thinking and free literature language. The course is orientated towards deep studying of literature, culture, history, and foreign languages. Teachers work by individual programmes co-ordinated within the framework of a number of pedagogical experiments. Entrance of children into the Lyceum conducts by the competitive principle (in 1995 five people pretended to one place). High-skilled teachers, systematic variety of pedagogical styles, high labour discipline, comfort are responsible for the peculiar Lyceum patriotism joining children even when they graduate from the Lyceum.
