AT THE CENTRAL BANK OF RUSSIA Established in April of 1931. Trains, offers refresher courses, and improves qualification of specialists in banking. Gives professional orientation to schoolchildren. Gives consultations to beginner businessmen. The School in the member of the International Educational Programme "Morozovskii Proekt". SHPERE OF ACTIVITY The School takes advantages of continuous multilevel educational system according to the scheme: professional orientation of schoolchildren (Banking Class) - Banking School - higher education institution. The Banking Class was organized in the Siberian Municipal Lyce (Tomsk). Schoolchildren graduating from this Class may take their choice to improve their knowledge of banking in the Banking School of the second level of training (High School) during two years to become bank employees or of the third level of training (College) during three years to become specialists in banking. Students graduated from the College with first-class diplomas or with no less than 50% of excelent and good marks and recommended by Masters’ Meeting may enter the Ural State Economical University and in two years and three months receive the first-degree diplomas. The program of Refresher and Qualification Improvement Cources of the Banking School for banking personnel includes the following courses: "Banking Operations", "Banking Accounting", "Economical Analysis of Bank Operation", "Banking Marketing", "Banking Currency Transaction", "Accounting of Banking Operations with Foreign Currency", "Issue-Foundation Banking Activity", "Banking Business Correspondence in Foreign Language", and "Banking Information Technology". A certificate of completion of these Courses is awarded. The School gives consultations and helps to computerize banking, accounting, and making balances and other documentation for enterprises, institutions, and citizen.
