State education establishment of the vocational training. Established in November 1942. SPHERE OF ACTIVITY Vocational training, retraining and improvement of professional skill of specialists in machine-building. Education with subsequent giving of the following qualifications of secondary vocational training: technologist-businessman, accountant-economist, accountant-jurist, jurist (economic law), manager. Production of devices for mechanization of ice splitting off from asphalt and concrete surfaces of roads, pavements, etc. MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS The use of module-sectional system in formation of educational programmes (curriculums), which allows changes in content of education and its adaptation to requirements of a user and changes in the social-economic situation. High degree of computerization of the education process and the activity of the School as a whole. Devices for ice splitting off from roads and pavements are recognized in municipal services of several town (author of the project is the employee of the School, Candidate of Technical Sciences, N.K.Sergeev). On the base of the School, the regional centre for development of the module-sectional education is created, as well as the Education and Business Centre of the programme MOROZOVSKII PROEKT (Morozov Project). The Project includes: organization of practical support and development of small and medium business in the region; teaching in the wide variety of problems of market economy and business activity; professional re-training of unemployed persons; information, consulting services; assistance in establishment of business contacts with foreign businessmen and receiving of investments; creation of business incubator; creation of business school for teenagers on the basis of municipal school No.58, work on economic studying in the Tomsk school No.38; close collaboration with the Service of Employment and Migration, the Antimonopolistic Committee, the Trade and Production Chamber, the Centre for Business Support (USAID), the Centre of Polish Culture in Tomsk; participation in organization of the TOMSKINVESTPROEKT competition, which performs the selection of projects for competitions of business plans and investment projects, carried on within the framework of "Morozov Project".
