Established on August 6, 1944. SPHERE OF ACTIVITY Improvement of qualification for teachers of the Tomsk Region and Siberia. Organization of teacher’s refresher courses in different fields in collaboration with Tomsk institutions of higher education. Conduction of experimental and innovational activities in educational institutions. Organization and conduction of seminars on pedagogical problems of primary importance. Writing and printing text-books. MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS Close contacts with foreign partners. Development of the system of commercial activity. Support of pedagogical initiatives that provided the basis for development of educational institutions of new type.
