SCIENTIFIC-PRODUCTION CENTER FAN Established in December of 1991. Limited liability company. SPHERE OF ACTIVITY Development and production (restoration) of photoreceptors (photocylinders, photoplates, and films) for photo-composing machines. Production of metallized decorative, sunproof, and other films. Design and decoration of office and living interiors "by key." Delivery of decorating materials and household appliances of European firms. Delivery of furniture of Russian firms. Production of sawn timber including planed timber. Delivery of petroleum products. The Scientific-Research Department of the Center develops photosensitive media for silver-free photography and creates production technologies and unique non-standard equipment to produce multilayer electrophotographic materials based on heterostructures and varizone structures of organic and inorganic semiconductors. Using its own productive capacities, the Department masters manufacture of multipurpose photoreceptors that have already been developed (photocylinders and plates that can be used instead of selenic flexible films) and can be used in a great variety of electrophotographic equipment (from personal table printers and laser printers made by famous firms Cannon and Xerox to REM-600 made in the USSR). The Vacuum-Technological Sector develops and produces rolls of metallized materials, including polymeric films and multipurpose paper, and is capable to deliver more than 60 t (2.5—106 linear meters) of its product to consumers. The Lumber Shop of the Center lumbers log timber of conifers and broad-leaved tries of export quality, produces sawn timber and planed assortment including facing and tongue-and-groove laths, battens, planks (waggon planks), and so on. It exports and waggons these products. The Exhibition-Commercial and Design-Production Department sells wholesale building-decorating materials made in Europe and furniture, shows specimens of products in its own exhibition-trading salons, takes orders by these specimens and catalogs, designs office and living interiors, and decorates them from individual designs with the use of completing materials delivered by the Department "by key."
